It is a project that centers on the discipline’s boundaries in the context of exhibition design industry, and explores the potential of implanting interdisciplinary design in design practice.

A case study of the HKMoA exhibition (Art Personalised: Masterpieces from the HKMoA”) was conducted to analyse visitors’ behaviour when they visit the exhibition. It was separated into three parts—Shadowing, Observation, and Interview—aiming to explore design disciplines’ boundaries and cross-discipline collaboration in an exhibition setting.

Six spots in the exhibition were chosen to observe visitors’ interaction with the space and objects. Comparing designer's feedback and visitors' behavior, the results echo with each other— pointing out the issues occur due to disciplinary boundaries in the design process.
